Behind this message is a solution that must perform reliably in demanding conditions over the long term.
For EKO-KOM we produced self-adhesive labels on our UV digital press with a focus on outdoor durability and long-term readability.
Material and print technology were key:
- PVC WHITE (monomeric PVC film, 80 μm) with resistance to UV radiation and chemicals
- digital UV print for high colour stability
- matte lamination for surface protection
PVC is justified in this application and cannot be fully replaced while meeting the required lifespan and durability.
Adhesive also plays a major role:
- acrylic, extra permanent (P4)
- peel adhesion 18 N/25 mm
- temperature resistance -30 to +90 °C
The result is a solution we believe will hold reliably, resist external influences and retain its function over long-term use.
Print quality shows not only at handover but above all in long-term performance in the field.
