RafCycle
RafCycle is an initiative by UPM focusing on recycling and renewable resources. The primary goal of RafCycle is to reduce waste and maximize renewable resources. UPM strives to minimize its environmental impact by offering recycling services for materials that would otherwise end up in landfills. The RafCycle project involves the collection and processing of silicone-coated release liners from self-adhesive materials. Through this initiative, used and unnecessary materials can be turned into new products, such as newsprint.
This initiative helps companies minimize their waste while also supporting renewable resources and sustainability. RafCycle is an example of how companies can integrate recycling into their manufacturing processes and contribute to more sustainable material management.
